The future is clear… nu-clear.

Evidently, Bush does not require the support or authorization of Congress (or any other government entity) to send nuclear ICBM's or any other nuclear weapon twirling into Iran. Unless the Generals decide to disobey orders, there's pretty much nothing to stop Bush from nuking Iran. Unless, of course, some nations, namely… Russia and China, decide to step in and say "Hey, United States: You nuke Iran: We nuke you". Hopefully, it won't come to that. I can't even begin to imagine what the planet is going to turn into if the US starts chucking nukes at Iran. I have a feeling there's going to be alot of what the US likes to call "terrorism" if they should decide to nuke Iran, either with "tactical", "strategic", or "bunkerbuster" nuclear weapons. And of course there's the whole situation with them mixing their weapons. Alot of US "conventional" missles are really just tiny little itty bity nuclear weapons. Lower the yield and payload, and people tend to "accept" them more readily. "Atleast it won't be another Hiroshima" they might say, but it is still a nuclear weapon. Radiation. Background Radiation. Nuclear weapons are far more damaging, short and longterm, than chemical or biological weapons. There is no "cure" for radiation poisoning. You die. Period. Ground water and agricultural land will be completely useless, and extremely deadly. Birth defects, abnormal medical conditions, the list goes on and on and on. I can't imagine the international outrage they will face if they decide to drop the bombs. If they thought 9/11 was bad, the aftermath of an atomic blast is sure to bring about quite a shitstorm from what the US labels "terrorist" organizations.
